What is Peppermint Oil?

Peppermint oil is an essential oil obtained from the leaves of the peppermint plant (Mentha × piperita). Its minty, fresh and bright scent is instantly recognisable and works beautifully in soaps, bath bombs and room fragrances. How to Use Peppermint Oil in Your DIY Projects

Soap making: melt a glycerin soap base, let it cool slightly, stir in 10–20 drops per 200 g and pour the soap into silicone soap molds.
Candle making: add the oil to melted wax just before pouring.
Oil burner, aroma diffuser or humidifier: add a few drops to the water, if your device is suitable for essential oils.
Potpourri and scented sachets: refresh dried flowers with a few drops.
